I was reffering to the "I think it's nerfed" part

1 heritic and 3 doylak masters (or whatever)

They all look the same but the masters are healers.

My thoughts exactly... reminds me of similar chests that used to be in Riverside, only they were a thousand times easier to get to. As a matter of fact, I think "the lost strongbox" is the very same chest that used to be in Riverside. Man I miss chests that require no keys...

I have nearly 1000 hours in PvE, and the list of unlocks I have gotten is surprisingly slim. Good thing I really don't care about PvP.

My guildie and I do this run for the chests only with w/mo. He gets another guildie to run with him so he doesn't get dp. I just die and zone over and over. But I don't kill anything, I just grab the chests and die. I haven't gotten anything real real good. But my guildie got a Purple Crystalline sword .

Nice. Did he just rezone and reopen the chests, or did he zone into snake dance and kill some stuff before rezoning, like uber suggested?

Also has anyone found any white crystallines? I've never seen/heard of a white one before, but it seems like this would be the place to get one

What would be a good build to solo Dreadnought's Drift with a warrior?

I'm guessing using Shield of Judgement to deal major damage to the Tundra Giants combine with Dolyak Signet to tank the rock slide.

Cool

well some ppl know of this a long time, and as with every farming place, they arent nerfed... it just that too many ppl are farming them... a chest cannot drop unlimited amount of rares, as it was pointed in a discussion on this forum some time ago...

Chest, monsters, etc... have a drop rate... lets say 25 golds an hour... if 10 ppl are farming this, they *will* get 2.5 golds an hour... if 10,000 ppl are farming this they will get 0.0025 golds a hour, see the math... places arent nerfed, they just arent adjusted for increased rate of farming... and the ever increasing number of players... so by posting this here u just made impossible for u and the others to get good drops anymore... Afcourse u will say i got, and then some1 else will say i got this... but thats the point, those are the 25 lucky guys out of who knows how many thousends farming... and the chance u will be lucky tommorrow is 1/[number of players] farming it in that moment... very very little now....

I was running this with W/Mo last year, and got some nice drops, very rare, but as the word started to spread, drops got worse and worse...

Nowdays its just a waiste of time, u need 10 mins to get there with W/Mo and if u salvage everything u get u will get around 15k from materials and "god forbid [once in 25 days, maybe] some nice drop for a 2 hours run... I used to make 80-90k on hour last year just from gold armors... Thats 7.5k an hour of your time now...
If u go to augury rock and farm griffons u can make 20k an hour plus many gold drops... u usually get 1 good drop or upgrade an hour of farm... *usually*, not every hour, there are bad days... Thats like 40k + items for 2 hour run... way better than these chests...

Another great guide, Uber.

Good job.

I found about these chests a bit too late before all the changes that were done to Snake Dance, but the idea of a 55 monk getting there never came across then.

For all those saying it impossible to get there, simply requires practice and patience. I managed to get to the Lost Strongbox without aggroing anything (given I was lucky too). Both boxes dropped quite a few white items, nothing really notable but it was still worth the trip. Something to do while waiting for favor to come back. =)

THANK GOD someone said it. I have no idea why the hell people would want to tell THEIR farming spots. Honestly. If I found an area that had a Crystalline Sword drop 1/10 times, you think I would tell you? Thats the reason 55 monks are running everywhere like chickens with their heads cut off, and also why newbie warriors, that have had the game for a week, farm griffons. Have common sense. Does it make you money? YES! GREAT! why tell the next person who will give this information to the 500,000 other noobs in droks saying SUM1 PLZ HELP WIF ARMUR! NEED 30K FOR DIE!...jesus christ, get a freakin catscan or something...you really do have something wrong with you.

Ok, Ok, no need to be angry, i just asked (a little bit strange ) for a video, and if noone wants to create one, OK. I can live with that. No need to call me an idiot or something. So ill try myself, i don´t mind. Thanks for the nice replies >.<

In the end, i apologize again for my stupidness
(sry for bad english, im not from England or USA)

And above, ok that was stupid. I didn´t mean it like this. I should have asked more friendly -.-
Must have sounded like a jerk.

This wasnt meant directly towards you, but in general. The reason i have posted is because of people always overfarm the one spot, ok it's fine to post about your own build and general area where you use it, but to say the specific spot where it's used, leads to noobs rushing to the area, overfarm, and then comes along "Anet", well.. they are repetitive farmers.. let's nerf this spot too, or well lets adjust it with more creatures for each type of profession so it cant be farmed. Then.. we come back and begin bitching and complaining about it being nerfed asking and posting to stop the nerfing when in fact it's all thanks to you for telling everyone else about it, most of us already know the places.. but unlike noobs we dont open our big mouth and tell every single person we see just so we feel superior or get praise for it.. it really is a shame.
